Last week HNOJ youth animators organized and led a leadership camp for teens aged 12-16. We were very fortunate to have 14 enthusiastic participants join us. Over the 3 days of the camp, the participants learned the basics of leadership such as clear communication, teamwork, organization, and most importantly, how these qualities are connected to our faith. They participated in many activities, and made friendships along the way. The participants applied what they had learned and planned a prayer service for World Day for the Elderly and Grandparents. The evening was a success and was received very well by the community. Overall, the leadership camp was a good learning experience. It was an opportunity for our youth to make new friends and acquire new skills. We look forward to continuing to journey with them in the future and to provide opportunities for them to deepen their faith and grow their leadership skills.
