A program that partners with parents to guide our children to know Jesus, to grow their relationship with Him & to go into the community to serve joyfully
The primary aim of Faith First is to guide our children to know Jesus, to grow in relationship with Him, and to go into the community to serve our Lord joyfully.
The Faith First program will prepare your child & family to receive the sacraments of First Holy Communion & Confirmation
Sessions will take place at Holy Name of Jesus of parish. Some sessions may take place online via Zoom if required. There will be activities to be completed at home guided by an adult.

Instead of using a workbook, we are asking participants to continue their journey at home by choosing from a list of activities to complete during the week.
They will be asked to either:
• Read
• Watch
• Listen
• Experience
• Reflect
It is first in families where we discover God and develop a relationship with Him. With parental participation, this program helps to build and strengthen the Domestic Church.

The community of HNOJ as represented by our youth leaders, the catechists and you the parents will be the witnesses to our faith through witness talks, teaching sessions and discussions.
