The parishes of Laval invite you to a unique experience: an intercultural pilgrimage.
As part of the Jubilee Year 2025, the parishes of Laval are invited to a unique experience: an intercultural pilgrimage, on Sunday October 26th. The Jubilee is a time of grace, hope, and encounter, when the Church calls us to walk together through the Holy Door of mercy and rediscover the beauty of fraternal communion.
This pilgrimage is an opportunity to walk together, pray, and get to know each other better—in the spirit of Pentecost, where peoples of different languages, customs, and traditions learned to understand and welcome one another.
Our parish will be one of the five stops on the journey.
The jubilee journey will include five stops:
• 1:30 p.m. – Paroisse Ste-Dorothée
• 2:10 p.m. – Paroisse St-Ferdinand – St-Élie
• 3:00 p.m. – Paroisse Saint-Nom-de-Jésus
•. 3:45 p.m. – Holy Name of Jesus Parish
• 4:30 p.m. – Amour Divin Parish
The day will conclude with a festive meal (tasting): every community is invited to bring a few dishes from his country (potluck - no need to warm up), symbolizing sharing and communion in diversity.
You can join us at the beginning or choose a parish near your home and continue the pilgrimage until the end. Everyone organizes their own transportation as they wish.
Let us celebrate diversity, and get a taste of the spirit of the Jubilee: an open, welcoming Church gathered around Christ.
