As the Church around the world mourns the passing of Pope Francis, Holy Name of Jesus Parish was prayerfully present at the Requiem Mass and Vigil held for the repose of his soul.
Kevin Reda, Lay Pastoral Associate at our parish, was in attendance at these significant liturgies. During the vigil, he offered a reflection on Pope Francis’ legacy and the hope he inspired throughout his papacy.
Several media outlets, including CTV, CityNews, Global News, and the Montreal Gazette, also spoke with Kevin to gather thoughts on Pope Francis’ life and impact on the Church and the world.

Let us continue to pray for the soul of Pope Francis, and for the Church he loved and served with humility and joy.
