‍Stewardship Weekend FAQ

Question: What Is Stewardship?

Stewardship is a way of life rooted in gratitude. Everything we have, our time, talents, and treasure is a gift from God. Living as good stewards means using those gifts to serve others and build up His Church.

It’s not just about giving; it’s about living with purpose, gratitude, and faithfulness as disciples who are sent to make a difference.

Question: How Is Stewardship Linked to Jesus’ Mission?

Stewardship continues Jesus’ mission by sharing our God-given gifts, serving others and inviting others to encounter Christ. As St. Paul reminds us in
1 Corinthians 12:7: “To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.”

Through stewardship, we participate in Christ’s mission:

🙏 Through prayer, we grow closer to Him.

🤝 Through service, we share His love

🎁 Through generosity, we support His mission

❤️ Through invitation, we welcome others and share the Good News.

Question: How Can I Discover My Gifts?

God has given each person unique talents, passions, and abilities. Begin by asking yourself:

  • What do I love to do for others?
  • What do people often thank me for?
  • What needs in the parish or community move my heart?

Pray, reflect, and listen. The Holy Spirit will guide you. Our parish team is here to accompany you as you discern where God may be calling you to serve.
