Stewardship Weekend FAQ

Question: What Is Stewardship?

Stewardship is a way of life rooted in gratitude. Everything we have, our time, talents, and treasure is a gift from God. Living as good stewards means using those gifts to serve others and build up His Church.

It’s not just about giving; it’s about living with purpose, gratitude, and faithfulness as disciples who are sent to make a difference.

Question: How Is Stewardship Linked to Jesus’ Mission?

After His Resurrection, Jesus sent His disciples to continue His work:

“As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” John 20:21

Through stewardship, we bring Christ’s love into the world:

Through prayer, we grow closer to Him.

Through service, we share His love with others.

Through generosity, we sustain His mission in our parish and beyond.

Every act of stewardship  large or small ,continues the mission Jesus began.

Question: How Can I Discover My Gifts?

God has given each person unique talents, passions, and abilities. Begin by asking yourself:

  • What do I love to do for others?
  • What do people often thank me for?
  • What needs in the parish or community move my heart?

Pray, reflect, and listen. The Holy Spirit will guide you. Our parish team is here to accompany you as you discern where God may be calling you to serve.
