60 Years With Grateful Hearts

As we come to the close of our 60th anniversary celebrations, our hearts are full of gratitude. This past year has been a powerful reminder that Holy Name of Jesus is not simply a building, but a living community that has been shaped by faith, generosity, and the countless people who have offered their “yes” to this parish.

We extend our deepest thanks to our 60th Anniversary Committee, whose vision, dedication, and tireless work brought these celebrations to life. From the 60 Years Strong fundraiser, to our special Pentecost Community Day, to the Gala and our beautiful 60th Anniversary Mass, their leadership helped us honour our past while joyfully looking toward the future.

We are also profoundly grateful to everyone who participated throughout the year. Those who volunteered behind the scenes, donated, planned, cooked, decorated, set up chairs, welcomed guests, prayed, sang, and celebrated. Each contribution reflected the spirit that has defined Holy Name of Jesus for six decades.

Our Anniversary Mass presided by Archbishop Christian Lépine reminded us that our story began humbly in basements, schools, and borrowed spaces. The community has grown into a multicultural, intergenerational parish family rooted in Christ. We are a community built by founders, pastors, clergy, lay leaders, youth, families, seniors, and newcomers, all united by the most holy name of Jesus.

As you browse the photos from our Gala, relive the moments from our 60th Anniversary Mass, and watch the highlights of this milestone year, we hope you see what we see: a parish alive with faith, service, and hope.

Thank you for being part of this story.
Thank you for helping us celebrate 60 years strong.
And thank you for continuing to build the next chapter of Holy Name of Jesus.
